The first Ulta sale in 2024 is ending on Januray 20th, but don’t fret! This year you can expect the Love Your Skin Event, Ulta Semi-Annual Sale (formerly the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty), and so much more. With so many brands at Ulta, you’re sure to find some of your favorites on sale during these events. Keep reading if you want to know the tentative dates of all the sales happening at Ulta and what you can expect from them. Also, don’t forget to sign up for the FREE Ulta Beauty Rewards program.
WHEN WILL ULTA SALES HAPPEN IN 2024?
Ulta usually holds sales during major holidays and high volume shopping times. Unlike most of the sales at Sephora, the Ulta Sales are open to everyone. However, it’s best to become an Ulta Beauty Rewards member. The Ulta Ultamate Rewards program is one of the best available and it’s free! You can find more information about it toward the end of this post.
Below you will find all of the monthly Ulta sales so that you can mark your calendar and set a reminder.

January - Ulta Sales Events
From December 31st-January 20th, you can score 50% off of select skincare from some of the top and most highly rated skincare brands. The Ulta Love Your Skin Event runs at the same time as the Sephora Daily Deals Skincare Sale. Making it easy to get your products from your preferred retailer. During this sale, you can get 50% off different skincare brands each day, as well as, 30% off weekly deals.
If you love skincare, this is one of the better Ulta Sales to score deals on prestige brands that aren’t typically on sale.
The other January Ulta sale event is the Jumbo Love Sale. During this time, you can score up to 45% off some of the top hair care products. This sale is specifically for the 1L sized shampoo and conditioner, along with select dry shampoo, co-wash, and leave-in conditioner.
February - National Lash Day
The aren’t many sales at Ulta in February. However, on National Lash Day which is every year on February 19th, you can get up to 50% off on all things lashes during the Ulta National Lash Day Sale. The great thing about Ulta is that you can find mascara and false lashes from both drugstore brands and prestige brands.
In honor of Black History Month, this is also a great time (although it’s great to support year-round as well) Black-owned brands at Ulta. I’ve created a list of some the Black-owned brands, along with my favorite Black-owned products at Ulta for easy access!
March - Ulta Semi-Annual Sale (Ulta 21 Days of Beauty)
The best Ulta Sale in 2024 will be the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty, now called the Ulta Semi-Annual Sale. It’s the most anticipated Ulta sales event and it happens around the same as Sephora’s “Oh Snap!” sale. This year it starts on March 3rd for diamond and platinum Ulta Rewards members and on March 8th for everyone else.
During this sale you’ll find select skin and hair care, cosmetics, nail care, and wellness products for up to 50% off. The great thing is that you can see the full calendar a few days ahead of the event so you can set yourself a reminder to shop when your favorite products go on sale.
If that’s not enough reason for you to shop, if you are a part of the Ulta Beauty Rewards Program, you can often earn up to 5x points during this time.
April - Ulta Spring Haul Event
Spring is the perfect time to stock up on your favorite transition products for summer. It’s the time to put away your heavier winter skincare and beauty products and grab more lightweight ones. The Ulta Spring Haul Event allows you to get some of your favorites for up to 50% off.
This sale mainly focus on beauty related products, but trust me, it’s a sale you don’t want to miss! You can often find entire brands on sale during this time, rather than just select products from a brand.
May - Ulta Gorgeous Hair Event
If you love hair care products, the Ulta Gorgeous Hair Event is for you! This sale typically happens in May and again in October. Both sales consist of daily deals where different haircare products will be available for up to 50% off each day.
June - Jumbo Love and Ulta Big Summer Beauty Sale
Like the Jumbo Love Event that takes place in January, you can score up to 45% off of jumbo-size hair care products in June. You can once again find brands at Ulta like Biolage, Redken, Pureology, Ouai, and much more on sale!
From makeup to skincare, jumbo hair care products, and much more, you can find select products on sale during the Ulta Big Summer Beauty Sale. This sale usually starts at the end of June and runs through the second week of July. You’ll find products for up to 50% off, select items BOGO free, and up to 40% off jumbo-sized products. There are also app-exclusive discounts so keep an eye out for those!
July - Big Summer Beauty Event Cont'd and National Lipstick Day
The Ulta Big Summer Beauty Event continues through mid-July.
Calling all lipstick lovers! While National Lipstick Day is on July 29th, Ulta offers up to 50% off select lipsticks and lip products for a whole week during the Ulta National Lipstick Day (week) sale.
August - Forever Fabulous Sale & Ultamate Rewards Appreciation
There aren’t any major Ulta sales in August, but you can still find deals like those during the Forever Fabulous Sale. This sale typically only runs for 2 days. However, it’s a great time to get up to 50% off on select beauty products to help prepare you for Fall.
If you’re a Diamond or Platinum Ulta Rewards Member, this is your time to shine – and earn more! During the Diamond & Platinum Member Appreciation Days, Ulta Beauty Rewards members in these two tiers can earn up 10x, yes TEN TIMES, the points on select items.
If you want a quick way to rack up points, this is the best time to shop. You’ll be able to score 5x points on everything when shopping online in addition to the 10x on select products.
September - Ulta Semi-Annual Sale (Ulta 21 Days of Beauty)
If you missed the first Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Event, you have another chance to shop it late-August to mid-September. Like the 21 Days of Beauty in March, you’ll be able to grab some of your favorite products for up to 50% off. Deals change daily so be sure to check out the full calendar so you don’t forget which days to shop!
The second most anticipated Ulta Sales event is the Ulta Fall Haul Event. This sale usually happens about a week after the 21 Days of Beauty Event ends. You’ll be able to score daily deals on beauty products to help you slay all of the fall trends and holiday looks.
October - Fall Gorgeous Hair Event
In October, Ulta typically only hosts one sale, the Fall Gorgeous Hair Event. It usually starts at the beginning of October and lasts for 21 days. Like the Gorgeous Hair Event earlier in the year, you’ll be able to score up to 50% off select hair products.
November - Holiday Sales Begin
Ulta in November is the perfect time to start purchasing Holiday gifts – for your loved ones and yourself. To kick things off is the Ulta Hello Holidays Sale where you can get up to 50% off of select products. You can also snag $10 or $20 off when you make a qualifying purchase. This sale typically happens during the second week of November.
About a week after the Hello Holidays Sale is the Ulta Black Friday Sale. Most of the Black Friday deals and doorbusters can be found online. Which is great for those who prefer not to go out in the crowds. It’s an amazing way to grab stocking stuffers, gift sets, and more at up to 50% off.
Of course with Black Friday comes Cyber Monday. The Cyber Monday Deals at Ulta are some you don’t want to miss. While the deals available during Black Friday are still live, Ulta offers discounts on 400+ products on Cyber Monday!
December - Holiday Blitz and Jumbo Love
If you missed out on the Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales, don’t worry. You’ll still have time to score up to 50% off of select products for 25 days in December. The Ulta Holiday Blitz Event, also known as their Happy Haul-idays Event, usually takes place from December 1st-25th.
This is a great time to grab those last minute holiday gifts or grab your favorite skin and body care products from brands like Clinique, Smashbox, BareMinerals, and more.
At the end of December, you can catch the Ulta Jumbo Love Event. This is the final Ulta Sale in 2024 and it takes us into the next year!
Other Ways to save
One of the best ways to save (and earn) when there aren’t any major Ulta Sales happening in 2024, is by joining the Ulta Beauty Rewards Program. This is free program that you can sign up for online.
You can earn up to 1.5 points per $1 spent, get a birthday gift (and earn 2x points during your birthday month), redeem your points for discounts, and so much more. Rewards depend on your Ulta Beauty Rewards member tier, with Diamond tier having the best rewards.
You do have to spend a certain amount before moving up tiers, but if you’re an avid beauty shopper, it’s pretty easy to do. Especially if shop during the plethora of 2024 Ulta Sales.
Another way you can save at Ulta is by getting an Ulta Beauty Credit Card. You’ll earn 20% off your first purchase and 2x points on any Ulta purchase that you make. While there is no annual fee, be sure to read ALL of the terms of the credit card to make sure that it makes sense for you financially.
