Mother’s Day will be here before you know it. There’s no better time than now to start brainstorming gift ideas for the mother or mother-figure in your life. Here are 5 ideas for Mother’s Day gifts for stay-at-home moms that she’ll actually love.

1. A solo night away

As a stay at home mom myself, I know how rarely we get to spend a night alone, if ever. A mini staycation can be the perfect reset the stay at home mom in your life needs. Quality sleep is essential to our overall well being. Unfortunately, many SAHMs are on duty 24/7.

Use a website like Expedia to find deals on hotels in your local area! If you’re really feeling generous, book her a 2-night stay. I bet she’ll really appreciate it.

2. A quiet dinner

There’s nothing like being able to eat dinner in peace without someone asking for a bite of your food. There’s also nothing like not having to cook said dinner. Many stay-at-home moms find themselves cooking multiple times a day and it gets tiring after a while.

Why not treat her to either a dinner for just the two of you or a solo dinner? Just make sure it’s a place she actually enjoys!

3. house cleaning service

I know so many stay-at-home moms who find themselves cleaning up multiple times a day – everyday. Take the stress off of her and hire a cleaning service to help complete the deep cleaning of your home. You could even hire a laundry service that will come to your home, pick up your laundry, do it for you, and then drop it back off.

A quick Google search can help you find a local service.

4. A day at the spa

Who doesn’t love being catered to? A nice massage, facial, and mani/pedi are the perfect gifts for stay-at-home moms who often for get to take care of themselves in this way.

5. Gift cards to her favorite places

Another Mother’s Day gift for stay-at-home-moms that she’ll actually love is being able to stop for herself. I’m guilty of going into a store with the intention of getting something for myself but then end up getting everyone else stuff.

Get her a gift card that she can only use on herself to her favorite stores. Alternatively, if you have no time to go in store, you can use GiftCards.com to purchase a gift card from over 400 places!

Bonus

Remind her that self-care isn’t selfish and that she deserves nice things! I have a blog post discussing self-care as a stay home mom. Share it with her so she can have some ideas on how she can practice self-care daily.

If you’re running low on time, here are some last minute Mother’s Day gift ideas first-time mom would love!
