30 Day Rosen Skincare Review: Here are My Thoughts

30 days with Rosen Skincare updated

For the last 30 days, I’ve been incorporating products from Rosen Skincare into my skincare routine. I had the opportunity to try out their Fade Routine Max which I detailed in a previous blog post. Now that some time has passed, I want to give you my 30 day Rosen Skincare review.

MY FAVORITE rosen skincare PRODUCTS

The three Rosen Skincare products that I enjoyed the most are the Super Smoothie Cleanser, Tropics Toner, and Break-Out Spot Treatment.

Super smoothie cleanser

image of the Rosen Skincare Super Smoothie CleanserFirst, I love the scent of the Super Smoothie Cleanser. It wasn’t too strong but did have a slightly sweet citrusy scent. It’s made with strawberry powder which helped to gently exfoliate my skin and provided a nice gentle cleanse. My skin was left feeling smooth after using it. The best part is that it didn’t dry out my skin. This is the only product that I finished during the 30 Days and I was quite sad when I ran out. I can definitely see myself purchasing this product in the future.

Break-out Spot Treatment

I mainly suffer from breakouts during the time of my period. A lot of the times they are painful and under the surface.  While using the kit I had two pimples appear. One was on my nose. The Rosen Break-Out Spot Treatment helped to bring them to the surface quicker than usual and helped relieve the pain they caused. While the breakouts didn’t disappear overnight, with continued use, I definitely felt relief. It took about a week for them to fully go away. I also feel like using this in combination with the other products caused the hyperpigmentation to go away more quickly.

tropics TOner

The tropics toner was my third favorite product. Unlike other toners that are made with the usual acids like glycolic acid, this toner is made with kojic acid and pineapple enzymes. It had an interesting consistency. Somewhere between a liquid toner and a loose serum. Overall I feel like it did a good job with balancing my skin. I didn’t see significant improvement in dark marks but it definitely helped with texture!

Other Products in the kit

Charcoal Mask

I mostly used the charcoal mask  before I did my makeup to help keep the oil at bay or as a spot treatment when I had a breakout. This helped to dry out my pimples and I noticed that it helped speed up healing. It’s important to know that this product is made with alcohol so over using it can likely lead to drying of the skin. I recommend that it is used sparingly.

*After looking at the Rosen Products of their website, Ulta, and Target, it appears this product is no longer sold.

Bright Citrus Serum

I didn’t get a chance to use the  bright citrus serum for the 30 days because it was delivered broken. However, I was sent a replacement and have been incorporating it into my routine. This product tingles initially but I’m not sure if it’s actually supposed to do that. I’ll give an accurate update once I’ve had the chance to use it for an extended period of time.

UPDATE: I couldn’t get past the tingling so I discontinued use.

Enzyme Scrub

I have a love-hate relationship with the Enzyme Scrub. I love that the scrub isn’t too abrasive and leaves my skin feeling soft after washing it off. However, I hate the film/residue that it leaves behind. As I applied it to my skin it had a sticky feeling which made it quite annoying to use. To get rid of it I had to follow up with the cleanser. Overall though, I definitely enjoyed my skin’s softness afterward. I would consider reintroducing it into my skincare routine at some point just because how soft my skin felt.

Final Thoughts

Overall, these products worked well for me. There were many things that I liked about them. image showing skin results after using Rosen skincare for 30 days I love that the products are powered by fruit powders and enzymes. These are generally gentler than ingredients found in products that do similar things. However, at this time, the only product I can see myself purchasing is the cleanser.

I’ve seen many people have amazing results with these products, but I didn’t experience too much change within the last 30 days. Maybe if I used it for a little longer, say 60-90 days I would have better results.

Since I do have some products remaining, I’ll continue to incorporate them into my routine. You can see what my skin looked like before by checking out my previous post.

Where to purchase

After checking, this kit is no longer available but the products can be purchased individually. You can purchase Rosen Skincare products directly from their website, at Ulta, and select products are also available at Target.
