The first Sephora Savings Event of 2024 is coming to an end, but don’t worry. There will be more! As with previous years, Sephora is keeping up with the Ulta sales to offer their major savings events PLUS their daily deals events. In addition to their daily deals, there is also the Sephora Spring Savings Event and the Sephora Holiday Savings Event. When will sephora savings events happen in 2024?
You may be wondering how often does Sephora have sales? In previous years, Sephora has held sales during major holidays and high volume shopping times. Below you will find a breakdown of monthly Sephora Sales so that you can mark your calendar and set a reminder.

January Sephora Sale - Skincare
From now until January 17th, you can score 50% off of select skincare from some of the top and most highly rated skincare brands. This Sephora daily deals skincare sale runs at the same time as the Ulta Love Your Skin event. Making it easy to get your products from your preferred retailer. Sephora offers 50% off different skincare brands each day during the event. The brands change daily so make sure you get what you want while it’s on sale!
Sephora Birthday Gift
Each year you can expect the Sephora birthday gift options to be announced in January. This year the options include: Kosas Lip & Brow Birthday Set, Youth to the People Cleanse & Hydrate Skincare Birthday Set, Morrocanoil Ultimate Hydration Birthday Set (online only), or a Sephora Birthday Gift of 250 points. If you’re VIB or Rouge you can also choose the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Look Birthday Set.
You can redeem your Sephora birthday gift at any time during your birthday month.
February
During the month of February, Sephora often runs a President’s Day Sale. This sale happens around the middle of February. In past years this sale offered up to 50% off on skincare, haircare, makeup, and fragrances.
In honor of Black History Month, this is the time when Black-owned brands at Sephora are also highlighted.
March
To compete with Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty, Sephora introduced its “Oh Snap!” sale. Unlike other Sephora sale events, this sale is open to everyone. Member or not. It typically runs from mid-March to April and then again in September to coincide with the sales at Ulta.
During this sale, you’ll find one to three top beauty products on sale for 50% off each day. Like the January Sephora Sale, these items are only on sale for 24 hours.
April Sephora VIB Sale
The sale that most people look forward to each year is the Sephora Spring Savings Event. While this sale happens both online and in store, it’s only available to Sephora Insiders. Since the Beauty Insider is free, that’s even more reason to join the program to take part in the sale!
This Sephora Spring Savings Event typically starts at the beginning of April and last for about 11 days. There are usually some exclusions during this sale like you can can only purchase one Dyson or Shark item, no discounts on in-store services, and some brands do not qualify for this Sephora Spring Savings Event discount. Speaking of discount, here’s what you can expect to save:
Rouge: 20% off with early access before other tiers
VIB: 15% off, access typically happens around the 4th day.
Insider: 10% off, access usually opens up on the 7th day.
30% off Sephora Collection for all tiers.
No matter what tier you fall in, you can shop as many times as you want during the Sephora Spring Sale. This is great time to save on the luxury brands you’ve been eyeing for a while like YSL, Dior, and more. Plus, if you have a Sephora credit card you earn 2x the points on your purchases.
May - Sephora Oh Hair Yeah! Event
There are two Sephora Sales in May. First, like the other Sephora Daily Deals sales, this sale runs around the same time as the hair event at Ulta. It usually starts the first week of May. If you missed out on the Sephora Spring Sale, this is a great time to save up to 50% on some of your favorite hair care products
Memorial Day Sale
The other May Sephora Sale Event is their Memorial Day Sale. Like other sales, you can score up to 50% off of select brands. Brands that were previously included in this sale were Peter Thomas Roth, Wander Beauty, Fenty, and more.
June
There are no official Sephora Savings Events in June but you can always check out their current promotions to see what’s on sale.
July - Sephora 4th of July Sale
The July Sephora sale last for only a short time but you can get free shipping on all orders and select products up to 50% off.
Sephora Summer Skincare Sale
This sale is the perfect time to restock on the skincare that you used up earlier in the year. The Sephora Skincare Sale is also the perfect time to rotate your thicker products used during the colder months for lighter ones that are better suited for summer weather.
During this sale you can score 25% off top skincare brands. Act fast though because brands change everyday!
August Sephora VIB Sale
This Sephora VIB Bonus Sale is exclusive for VIB and VIB Rouge members. To qualify for these tiers you must spend $350 or $1000, respectively. Like the Sephora Spring Sale Event, this sale includes almost everything. You can find the sale starting around the 3rd week of August!
Sephora App 7 Days of Deals
Another summer sale that happens is the Sephora App 7 Days of Deals. This is another daily deals sale and it only happens in app! As you may expect, the products that are on sale change daily. It usually happens toward the end of August.
If you missed the first Sephora Oh Snap! Sale event, you’re in luck because it happens again in the fall. This time it runs from about the end of August into September. This gives you ample time to stock up on your favorites. It’s also the perfect time to grab products that are popular in the fall. Think warmer tones and deep shades.
September
The two Sephora Sales events that take place in September are the Oh Snap! Sale event and the Fall Sephora Oh Hair Yeah! Event. The Oh Hair Yeah! Sale starts at the end of September and concludes around end of the second week of October.
October
Last year, the Oh Hair Yeah! sale Continued into October. During the month of October you can also take advantage of the National Brow Day Sale. This sale only last for one day. However, you can score deals on top eyebrow products from brands like HUDA Beauty, Benefit Cosmetics, and from the Sephora Collection.
November Sephora Holiday Savings Event
There are sales galore during this time of year. The Annual Sephora Holiday Savings Event actually starts at the end of October. However, the bulk of it happens during the first week of November. This sale is open to all Beauty Insiders so if you aren’t already signed up, make sure you sign up today so you don’t forget. It’s free, remember?
As with the other Sephora Insider Sales, each tier receives a different discount. There are also some exclusions to this sale. They’re usually similar to the exclusions in the Sephora Springs Sales Event.
Rouge: 20% and first access to the sale.
VIB: 15% off and gets access about 4 days after Rouge.
Insider: 10% off and gets access the same time as VIB.
All tiers receive 30% off of items in the Sephora Collection.
Sephora Black Friday Sale
Black Friday is the holiday shoppers dream. With amazing deals available from many of your favorite brands, including Sephora. Bonus: if you aren’t a Sephora Insider, this sale is for you, too! You can get 15% off your purchase, no minimum spend required. Or, if you spend $150 or more, you can get 20% off.
This sale kicks off on Black Friday and last until Cyber Monday where you’ll find even more discounts on many top brands.
Sephora Cyber Monday Sale
Cyber Monday falls on the Monday following Thanksgiving. If you prefer to shop online, Cyber Monday is your time to shine! In previous years, the Sephora Cyber Monday Sale has actually been a whole week of deals.
This Sephora sale is available to all shoppers and while it has “cyber” in the name, it’s available in store as well. You can score up to 50% off during Sephora’s Best Cyber Week Ever Event
December - Sephora Gifts For All Sale
As the name implies, the Sephora Gifts For All sale is for all Beauty Insider tiers. There are actually two parts to this sale. The first is the Gifts for All Sale which happens during the first two weeks of December. The second is Sephora Fragrance for All Event which happens during that last two weeks of December.
The other December Sephora sales you should be on the lookout for are the Sephora After-Christmas Sale and the Sephora End of Year Sale. These sales usually run from after Christmas until the first few days of January.
